Part 5 Contractor Report Cards

GSA uses Contractor Report Cards to assess how well you manage and comply with your contractual requirements. Input is gathered from both your Industrial Operations Analyst and your Administrative Contracting Officer. Just how important are your Report Cards? Your Contracting Officer will use them to help make the decision whether to exercise your Contract Option...or not.

Certain topics on the Report Cards are "mandatory critical," and failure to meet any of them results in a rating of "serious concerns exist." Among these topics are:

• Your compliance with the Trade Agreements Act.
• Whether you are using your current approved price list.
• How you are monitoring your basis of award customer discount relationship.
• Whether you are complying with the Economic Price Adjustment Clause.

Other Report Card topics are "mandatory, but not critical;" however failure in any two items from this category will bring a "very good" rating down to "satisfactory." Among these topics are:

• Whether you are up-to-date on GSA Advantage!.
• If you have participating dealers, whether your dealers are listed and current in your contract price list and on GSA Advantage!.
• Whether your records location and your administrative representative's information are correct (i.e., address, phone, fax, email).

If you're bucking for an "exceptional" rating you better be:

• Proactive in proposing to add and delete items from your Contract.
• Using all applicable e-contracting tools (i.e., e-Offer and e-Mod, e-Buy).
