Taiwan Is A Trade Compliant Country

Taiwan has become a Trade compliant country. Thousands of Taiwanese products are now available to be placed on contract. Taiwanese companies are likely to secure $9.6 billion of business a year from diverse industries such as: Information Technology, Communications, Office Products, Medical Equipment, and Green Products.

Currently, Contracting Officers are accepting contract modifications, so that contractors can sell Taiwanese products to their government buyers. SenSoft supports all contract modification types, including e-Mods which must be submitted into GSA's e-Offer system. Contractors can receive assistance with contract modification preparation, submission, and negotiation. They can:

Add Taiwanese products

SenSoft's web service produces a computerized Product Additions report which follows specific formats and calculations to help Contracting Officers validate that the government is getting the best price.

Add manufacturers who offer Taiwanese products

If contractors want to add manufacturers who offer Taiwanese products, SenSoft can help them with their Letter of Supply Packages, pricing spreadsheets, and modification requests.

Change prices on existing products

SenSoft's web service documents all price increases allowed by contract. If a contractor has price increases above his contract limit, SenSoft separates those prices to help the contractor make strategic decisions and craft price increase justifications.

Delete discontinued items

Contractors should avoid disappointing their buyers by having discontinued products on their price lists. It only leads to confusion and frustration. Chances are contractors may need to immediately delete products for Trade Agreements Act compliance.
