Catalog Uploads For SIP Users
We welcome contractors who have been using GSA's desktop Schedules Input Program (SIP). Whether you're new to contracting or a seasoned professional, we make it as easy as possible for you to manage your GSA Advantage! and DOD EMALL catalogs over the lives of your contracts. Any contractor of any size can use our service to maintain current and complete GSA Advantage! and DOD EMALL web presence. We have many clients with severaql hundred thousand products in their catalog and many with tens of thousands of photos.
New Contract Awardees Don't Have To Use the GSA provided SIP program
You are required by Section I-FSS-600 (GSA) I-FSS-597 (VA) to post your price lists on the GSA Advantage! website within the prescribed timeframe. You can use SenSoft's Easy SIP to accomplish this requirement. We convert your files to the SIP format required by GSA and transmit them for you to GSA. One of the nicest features of our service is that you will be able to review your catalog through our web service in the same format your will see on GSA Advantage, so you will know before you send your catalog to GSA what your buyers will be seeing on Advantage.
Getting on Advantage also registers you for eBuy and allows you to start making sales. Using Easy SIP will save you time and let you focus on the reason you went to all the trouble to get the contract: sales to Government buyers.
Keeping your price list current and publishing sale catalogs can boost your sales efforts. Thousands of government buyers from around the world conduct searches and place orders directly through GSA Advantage! and DOD EMALL. When your first product price list catalog and/or text file are posted to GSA Advantage!, you can register on GSA's eBuy system and receive Requests For Quotes (RFQs) immediately. Your GSA Advantage! and DOD EMALL catalogs become powerful marketing tools for your contract offerings. You can notify your government customers and prospects that they can view your products and services electronically 24/7 on government e-commerce platforms. And, you can provide a direct link from your website to GSA Advantage! and DOD EMALL.
Existing SIP Users
Good news! You have another GSA-approved upload service at your fingertips - no more hassles. SenSoft transmits your product price list catalogs and text files to GSA in the same format that the GSA SIP program uses. Beyond this, we're all about service! You can export your product data from SIP and send it to us if that is your best current data. Alternately, you can just send us the data in ordinary Microsoft Excel spreadsheet(s) with the information required by GSA. Photos can be included by placing the photo file name or web address (URL) in a column of your spreadsheet. You can send your contract Terms and Conditions as a Word or PDF document. Either way, you won't need to use the SIP program at all.

What are Product Price List Catalogs?
Product price list catalogs are electronic listings of your schedule products, prices, and photos in a data format suitable for display on GSA Advantage!. Your government buyers can "click purchase" on your products giving you direct sales 24/7 from around the world. By including any options and accessories, warranty statements, and shipping information, you can help your buyers make best value purchase decisions.
What are the types of Product Price List Catalogs?
Each type of catalog produces a different result on GSA Advantage!. A full or complete catalog is either your first catalog, or it completely replaces what you are currently displaying on GSA Advantage!. A change catalog enables you to provide line-by-line adds, changes, or deletes to your products. Administrative catalogs allow you to change names, addresses, and phone numbers, while sales catalogs offer you temporary selling opportunities. If you're a qualified BPA contractor, you can even produce BPA product catalogs.

What are Text Files?
Text Files are created from your contract Terms and Conditions. GSA recommends that all Contractors publish theri terms and conditions on the Advantage web site so that they will be readily available to buyers. There is a link in the listing for your Contract on E-Library to your document, if it has been uploaded. When your products and services don't lend themselves to being "click purchased" by government buyers who are on GSA Advantage!, you can describe them in the same document with your terms and conditions. Services which require a Statement Of Work (SOW) in order to complete the sale are also included in Text Files. Professional engineering, project management, and consulting are examples of services typically described with labor categories and hourly rates. Often products that are complex or difficult to configure can be found in Text Files.
When are Text Files mandatory?
GSA's Vendor Support Center website contains a lookup table, known as "Schedules SIN/MOL" which you may view or download. This lookup table displays your contracts' Special Item Numbers (SINs) and the SIN type codes which tell you whether you must submit your products and services only as a Text File, or whether you have the choice to describe your products and services in either a Text File or a Product Price List catalog. GSA's "Schedules SIN/MOL" table can be found at the GSA Vendor Support Center's Special Item Number and Maximum Order Limit Table. Even for the few cases where a SIN is 'Product Price List Catalog only', once you provide a product catalog, you can also submit your Text File to provide additional information.
