GSA Contract Extensions

When you need to renew your contract, tap into our contract extension service. We can help you prepare, submit, and negotiate your pre-extension contract modifications (product and labor category additions, deletions, price reductions, administrative changes, and/or Economic Price Adjustments), so that your contract is in a favorable position to renew for the next five years. We can then work with you to prepare, submit, and negotiate your contract extension package, and prepare and upload your new price list onto GSA Advantage!.

GSA Contract modification services

We support all contract modification types: adding or deleting products, SINs, or labor categories; and making price, administrative, technical, and terms and conditions changes in eOffer/eMod and FPT. We provide the EDI alternative input method when the Formatted Product Tool (FPT) comes to your schedule and contract. Contractors who sell products can quickly increase product lines, adjust to price fluctuations, and divest products which are no longer available. Our system offers optional TAA compliance editing, so you do not need to comb though all your price lists to remove non-compliant country codes. We identify Ability One ETS items versus the latest list from Ability One and NIB, and either drop or warn you about ETS items. We can assist you with modification: preparation, submission to your Contracting Officers, and with your negotiations. When you receive your Contracting Officers' signature approval, you can immediately use our catalog upload services to upload your new product catalog price list to GSA Advantage!, usually with the exact same spreadsheet used to obtain your contract modification.

GSA Contract compliance

We can help you manage any of your schedule contracts for contract compliance issues including: multiple contract registration requirements on government websites; rules-based management of GSA's Industrial Funding Fee; Trade Agreements Act; Ability One ETS item removal; price violations; contractor assistance review visits by GSA; and mandatory GSA Advantage! uploads. We review your contract documents; provide compliance consulting and assistance; and can create then conduct a government contracting training webinar tailored for your sales and administration personnel. With our web-based contract management services, your current and historical data is always at your fingertips enabling you to confidently provide price list information for contract audits.

Publish your price list on GSA Advantage and FedMall

GSA Advantage Publishing (upload) services

We help GSA and VA contractors use our Easy SIP® catalog upload service to upload latest price lists onto GSA Advantage! and FedMall. We make it really easy to upload sale (temporary price reductions), TAA and ETS deletes, and ordinary price list changes. We offer single upload prices and very economical annual subscriptions for unlimited uploads. Clients who have tried to use SIP for their larger price lists especially like our service. We have several Clients with well over a million item in their price list, and over 75% of the 20 largest price lists on Advantage are managed by our Clients. Our friendly and knowledgeable customer service desk representatives have helped over four thousand Easy SIP® Clients upload millions of products and services for government buyers. Our upload service complies with all of GSA's and DLA FedMall file formats, and is a single source for contractors to manage their various product catalogs and text files. We become your Vendor Support Center help desk, and when you contact us you get fast resolution for any GSA Advantage problems.

GSA Advantage Catalog preparation services

Many of our Clients actually use our secure and user friendly web site themselves, with an occasional assist from our staff. We make it especially easy to have quality photos from your photo file libraries or web site photo image URLs that are provided by many manufacturers and distributors. If you need assistance or guidance, we provide easy to use spreadsheet and Word file templates for the most common catalog types. SenSoft provides all the functionality offered by the GSA SIP program and much more. You can send us your files by email, or for larger files we offer a secure browser based upload feature that won't cause you firewall or security problems.

We call our assisted upload service Valet service, and provide it for a nominal fixed fee. Valet service allows you to send us your files by email and SenSoft complets the web site interactions necessary to process your price lists into the GSA Advantage or FedMall format. SenSoft provides a result on our secure web site that allows you to easily see what your catalog will look like before it goes to GSA Advantage, and we make it very easy to reprocess as needed to get exactly the result you want.

We also have staff available to assist you in constructing a spreadsheet or T&C Word file from the sources you have, like a price book, for example. Extra fees do apply when you ask us to assemble or edit your materials.

You are also provided with suggested sale prices which are used to create temporary sales catalogs. SenSoft can quickly upload these sales catalogs to GSA Advantage! to give you a competitive edge.

What are Product Price List Catalogs?

Product price list catalogs are electronic listings of your schedule products, prices, and photos in a data format suitable for display on GSA Advantage!. Your government buyers can "click purchase" on your products giving you direct sales 24/7 from around the world. By including any options and accessories, warranty statements, and shipping information, you can help your buyers make best value purchase decisions.

What are the types of Product Price List Catalogs?

Each type of catalog produces a different result on GSA Advantage!. A full or complete catalog is either your first catalog, or it completely replaces what you are currently displaying on GSA Advantage!. A change catalog enables you to provide line-by-line adds, changes, or deletes to your products. Administrative catalogs allow you to change names, addresses, and phone numbers, while sales catalogs offer you temporary selling opportunities. If you're a qualified BPA contractor, you can even produce BPA product catalogs.

What are Text Files?

Text Files are created from your contract Terms and Conditions. GSA recommends that all Contractors publish theri terms and conditions on the Advantage web site so that they will be readily available to buyers. There is a link in the listing for your Contract on E-Library to your document, if it has been uploaded. When your products and services don't lend themselves to being "click purchased" by government buyers who are on GSA Advantage!, you can describe them in the same document with your terms and conditions. Services which require a Statement Of Work (SOW) in order to complete the sale are also included in Text Files. Professional engineering, project management, and consulting are examples of services typically described with labor categories and hourly rates. Often products that are complex or difficult to configure can be found in Text Files.

When are Text Files mandatory?

GSA's Vendor Support Center website contains a lookup table, known as "Schedules SIN/MOL" which you may view or download. This lookup table displays your contracts' Special Item Numbers (SINs) and the SIN type codes which tell you whether you must submit your products and services only as a Text File, or whether you have the choice to describe your products and services in either a Text File or a Product Price List catalog. GSA's "Schedules SIN/MOL" table can be found at the GSA Vendor Support Center's Schedules SIN-MOL-Photo-UPC table. Even for the few cases where a SIN is 'Product Price List Catalog only', once you provide a product catalog, you can also submit your Text File to provide additional information.
